Project Overview
During the pandemic response, care access patterns changed rapidly; however, as the public health emergency has been extended, the use of virtual care has stabilized, affording an opportunity to assess impact on the cost of care while telehealth utilization is still relatively high. Utilizing claims data, a comparison analysis will be performed to determine total cost of care and health care utilization patterns for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room use.
