New registration link now live!
Brief webinar description:
Healthcare workers (HCWs) face elevated risk for psychological distress, with those living and working in rural communities experiencing unique challenges and limited access to supportive resources. This webinar will present findings from a large-scale implementation of a technology-enabled mental health screening, brief intervention, and referral program designed specifically for HCWs. The program has been deployed across several regional hospital networks, reaching more than 10,000 HCWs.
Participants will gain insights into engagement patterns, clinical outcomes, and the broader public health implications of scalable mental health supports for the healthcare workforce.
Participants will be able to:
- Describe the development and implementation of a telehealth-based tool that addresses HCW distress through self-screening, real-time feedback, and connection to a well-being clinician.
- Compare engagement and utilization of the screening, intervention, and referral program among rural versus urban healthcare workers.
- Review key mental health outcomes associated with program use, including reports of suicidal ideation.
- Discuss the public health impact and scalability of implementing mental health screening and intervention programs for HCWs in rural settings.
