Project Manager II
Mr. Jefferson collaborates in the day to day operations of the Telehealth Center of Excellence. He assists all areas of the TCOE. Works closely with funding partner (HRSA) and other local, regional, and national partners in the coordination, management and oversight of TCOE activities. Mr. Jefferson provides strategic guidance on the objectives and goals of the TCOE. Assists TCOE Project Director in coordinating sustainability and evaluation measures for telehealth programs apart of the TCOE. Mr. Jefferson came to the Center for Telehealth from within the institution. Previously, he had worked with the UMMC Myrlie Evers-Williams Institute as a Project Administrator and lead efforts that developed a social needs assessment clinic, EversCare, to provide necessary services to our underserved patient population experiencing disadvantages related to the social determinants of health. To address food insecurity specifically, Mr. Jefferson developed the EversCare Emergency Food Pantry. With more than 10 years of clinical administration and project management experience, the Center for Telehealth here at UMMC is pleased to have Mr. Jefferson apart of our progressive team.
