I am a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine and serve as Chief of Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care. Completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania and Internal Medicine residency and Chief Resident at University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2008. Completed Pulmonary and Critical Care training at University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2011. I have been at UMMC since 2011. I served as Medical Director of Medical Intensive Care Unit for 8 years, and was the critical care COVID response leader for the institution. I serve as Co-chair of the Institutional Quality Board and served 2 terms as member of Board of Trustees of the CHEST Foundation in American College of Chest Physicians. I see general pulmonary clinic patients, ICU recovery clinic, and round in the medical intensive care unit.
