Project Overview
The pediatric dentistry learning community model (PDLCM) aims to provide patient case-based information to pediatric dentists practicing in rural communities. In a needs assessment survey of rural Mississippi dentists, the participants identified education in pediatric dentistry as a high-priority area of need. The PDLCM will enhance the care capabilities of rural dentists by focusing on a major disease burden-childhood dental caries.
