Project Overview
This is a workplan designed to address gaps in mental health services in special populations. Workflow adaptation to include referrals to Telemental health services will be implemented for acute care (trauma), lifestyle medicine, student health services, HIV care, expectant and postpartum mothers, domestic violence shelters, and alternative to residential care programs for youth. Additionally, the work to increase the competencies of new mental health providers will continue through collaborations with university counseling education programs. MHFA education to school staff, families, and the general public will also continue.

Ideal for teachers, school staff, coaches, parents, and anyone working with youth, the training covers critical topics such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and crisis response.
