Increase Telehealth Virtual Visits for Rural Patients

Project Overview

While there was a significant uptick in the outpatient Telehealth visits during the COVID pandemic, many specialties have seen a decrease in outpatient visits performed via Telehealth. This has a significant impact on patients in rural areas as many times they have to travel long distances to see physicians and as a result, there is increase in health inequity between rural and urban residents.
